I've mentioned before my fear of the outside world. It's not being outside that scares me, but rather what I might find while I'm out there. Here is a short list of things I'm scared of.

  • Wasps
  • Pollen
  • Deep Water
  • Low-flying Birds
  • Girls
  • and Jars big enough to get your hand into, but not out of.
And those aren't the only things.

Anyway, I was granted day release from Lancaster and went to the Lakes with my Dad with the prospect of much canoing and fell-walking. Now, I don't know if you've been keeping up, but these activities would seem to clash with my general phobias, and I was also a little hungover.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I canoed, I walked, and nothing bad happened. This maybe isn't the most exciting blog-post in the world, but I'm typing one handed because I've got my right hand stuck in a jar.
