Good Gracious.

So it seems that I'm worse at this blogging lark than John McCain is at choosing a Vice President. Oh snap.

But really, why do I know so much about the American elections? Perhaps it's because the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 news (everyone knows nobody watches Five News) have been saturated with exciting news from the glorious Motherland. I guess we do live in the 51st state... I honestly couldn't tell you who the Deputy Prime minister of Great Britain is... (John Prescott?) and chances of me knowing the Shadow Deputy are pretty much nil. But ask me anything about Sarah Palin or Joe Biden, and I'll happily talk for hours.

It's a bit surreal to be in a world with politics and world affairs... my Summer was spent in a haze of tourists and Scottish scenery, of new friends and outdoor fun. For the first time in quite a few years I wasn't bitter or cynical or sarcastic or misanthropic...(read older posts and you'll see what I mean.)

But I'm home now, so I'll probably be blogging more... back to the bitterness of before.
